I was contacted by U Legal some months ago. The lady was very slick on the phone and stated that they had good reviews online. As soon as she mentioned payments I stopped the process as any decent company will take fees from what they claw back for you. I then checked them online and sure enough it was a complete scam! When they called back I told the woman that if anyone else called it would be treated as harassment and would be forwarded to the Police for investigation under the Protection From Harassment

They all only rang a couple of times, not long enough to look at the number and decide if I was going to answer or not, before the caller hung up. The number is a marketing company using automated surveys i.e recorded messages with press button that for this and press button this for that type responses. In my case, the survey related to using a NatWest service where I had supposedly contacted a NatWest call agent to discuss some aspect of my bank account.
