Called me to try get my business on top pages of google for certain searches... 17 mins later he got off the phone after politly saying no thanks for a number of times! Talks a lot, and if you call back, call on a witheld number as they can see your number when you call then back to see who it was/ how you can help etc!!

Is not possible that is nationwide ; I have received a call to my Italian number; they do not have it above they cannot call foreign numbers ; i think is a scam

Definitely a scam. Neither BT, Openreach or any other provider will call you about technical issues unless you contact them.

This is a timeshare type company making offers that seem too good to be true, and you know what they say about things that appear to be too good to be true!!! When you ask to be removed from their list they refuse and get abusive. who is this and where did they get my number from?? i did get someone at the other end earlier today , they mumbled something, called me by a name then the line went dead. I can only assume that whoever was on the other end was a complete arsehole and i would not want to speak to him again anyway. time the authoroties got a grip with these cold callers and put a stop to it. telephone preference registration is a complete waste of time!!!
