Woman phoned me and put me straight through to colleague after saying hello not even telling me who they was. Then the new guy answered and said I had come through to him as I was looking for compensation. he then proceeded to tell me I had rejected a payout offer from my recent car accident and he was part of the team to make sure I get compensation, I fell straight into the trap and gave him a fair few details he then sent an email asking for an E signature. Claimed to be from my broadband provider and wanted to sort router problems.

Said she was from Autodesk or AutoCAD and was looking to speak to accounts as license was due to expire. As we don't use Autocad i got suspicious, then she asked if she was speaking to a certain company, of which i didn't know. This may have been a genuine call where they phoned the wrong company or could have been a scam to try and get a payment. As Autodesk now use 3rd party account managers then you would normally know the person calling you and they would be using the correct names.

Text message stating it was Octopus Energy. But I have an account and they normally contact via email. So I don’t trust it.

Keep getting calls from this number 3 in the last hour. Silence then an automated voice says "Goodbye"

We don t have caller ID on our lilndane but it would be a nice added feature. I screen my calls on my mobile phone.I also wish I could talk to my family more often.

Scam callers making out they are from TalkTalk which they are not .

It seemed to be one of those calls about mis-selling of PPI claims but it was a person rather than an automated call. I didn't listen for long enough to find out.

this number called me 3 times yesterday using +1(225)690-004 LA,USA I did not answer, then today on 01225 690004 I did not answer again rang me 5 times

The guy who called could hardly speak English and said that I needed to update all of my details with him today otherwise, no one would be able to reach me by telephone or via my web site. I asked who he was calling from and he didn t say, so i asked him to delete my number from his call list. I think he then said he would ensure my entire records would be deleted and slammed down the telephone. Bon Chance!!

As in the other comment I was told to ring 01642850850 - this is useless. It asks you to give the name of the person and offers no other option. Since I don t know who called I was at a dead end
