SCAM 01782259871 rang 29/07/23 09:22. Call centre from Microsoft. Told me I had a problem on my computer. This is an old scam! Told her I didn’t have a computer. Hung up and blocked number.

This seems to be a scam, someone pretending to be someone's child, saying 'Hi Mum, this is my new number. My phone doesn't turn on on anymore so now you can text and call me on this number'. My child would not write like this. Please be aware.

The caller was an Indian man who knew my name, but refused to tell me his name or which company he is calling on behalf of. He hung up after I told him I will take legal action against unsolicited and junk calls.

Caled at 16:15. An English accented woman launched into "I'm from the Community Energy Review, & want to tell you I am not selling anything..." I cut her off & told her she was lying, that she wanted someone to check my insulation & that they would be trying to sell me "upgraded" insulation. There was a long silence so I hung up. I was called from these numbers 07874409775, 0787440321 and 07874400818 today 27 Feb'23. A man with a thick Russian accent claiming to be from FCA Cyber Security and asking for details of who I am (Phishing exercise?) in order to return money lost in a crypto scam last last year. The fact is crypto losses cannot be recovered, that was the whole point of it's security, it is tamper proof, so beware.

Man, claiming to be Jonathan Carter from Microsoft, rang from 01142998909. During the call the line dropped and when he rang back it was from this number. He said hackers had taken over my computer in the pass few days. He tried to persuade me to download Anydesk which gives access to my computer on the pretext that it would remove the hackers. When I refused he said he would have to block my computer from the broadband and I would have to come to Microsoft in Reading to have it unblocked

Pretending to be from Rosendale's Bailiff, trying to get me to transfer money, or will send some one round, abusive and rude, totally a scam... Feels sorry for the people they will con. Insha Allah they will get there just deserves in this world if they are lucky, if not in the next world.

Has rang 3 times in twenty minutes asking for someone who left the company over a decade ago. Then asking for the person who deals with the energy account (we have a broker who deals with it all on our behalf) and when told we are not interested rings back anyway.
