I expect 01663898313 is a cold call, aka spam. I have received two calls from it so far and each time it hangs up on my answering.
Unknown caller keeps ringing and does not leave a message or speak. Its harassing and annoying. Spam or scam. Clearly nobody I have actually given my number to. Its a gross invasion of my privacy & upsetting S it keeps happening almost every day

I am suspicious of this phone number. The man phoning spoke good English with a strong accent and was convincing. He told me he was from AV (antiviral program) and that my recent payment of £149 had not gone through. He offered me a discount policy at £29 for the next year. Re The failed bank payment, the bank itself stopped this money and when I spoke to my bank it was decided that the £149 seemed high for an anti viral program and there was a possibility of fraud. Rang to tell me that there has been 2 transactions on my visa card for £300 & £1100 pounds and to press 1. Hung up and tried to ring back but it was " unable to connect the call".
SCAM called to discuss damp problems reported in my property, I don’t have damp issues and have never reported any problems. I own my own property so knew immediately that this was a scam, talked to them long enough to get the gist of what they were trying to do before hanging up.

Said some letter was forwarded back to the sender and there will be some legal action taken against me. I have no idea what this is about
The call was allegedly from Sure Cover to revise my life insurance cover, then they said I was eligible for a better price and they tried to pass me to another department but I hang the call at that point. I searched and I found an article confirming it's a scam.
