The caller uses a Merthyr Tydfil dialling code but on interrogation turns out to be a call centre in Liverpool. I explain I am a member of TPS and don t wont to be cold called. Same call the next day!.

Yes, they are still operating and looks like they are having a New Year hunt for more people to con, as several friends have had calls from them over the past few days. These people repeatedly call phishing for information stating that they are calling about a car accident. Maybe some poor souls they call talk about an accident they may/ may not have had and pass on personal details. It appears to be a scam and the only way to avoid them calling is to block their number. They called my number >10 times over past 6 months and have never taken it off their system. FYI I was never in a car accident.
