recieved a letter stating i owe HMRC a large amount for not sending in my end of year. Contacted my accountant arranged a meeting to sort this out, We phoned HMRC and they confirmed that owed nothing to them, Got this in writing now and emailed them telling them that i would see them in court as i have proof that i owe nothing, but this company still keep ringing me!! How they got my number i will never know????

Scam callers trying to fish for banking details so they can rob you. Had multiple calls from this and similar numbers (ending 4301 to this 4309) all exactly the same, all late at night too between 7.30pm and 8.30pm, so not from a legit company as its illegal to phone you this late. I pretty much autoblock all 020 numbers now as they re always some kind of dodgy call centre trying to rob you. Blocked.

My solution is to leave my BT Aura answering machine on receive, and note my caller display before picking up the phone...... my friends wait to see if I answer, and knowing that all Incoming recorded messages are completely garbled and indecipherable, and that I will use 1471 and ring them back when I m available, they don t waste their time and money trying to leave a message. Came up on my phone as possible scam number, but actually a genuine call from Richer Sounds in Eton letting me know an order was ready to collect.
Spoke to a lady who informed me that I had popped up on their system as being owed money regarding PPI. She didn't skip a beat before moving straight on to ask if I had had been in any debt management plans or made bankrupt etc. Explained that I was not willing to give personal information and that I had already claimed my PPI back. She asked if I had received less than £1200 as that would be why I had appeared on their system. I informed her that we both knew that was rubbish and just marketing spiel
