They just phoned my elderly father-in-law on his land line and luckily my husband had just arrived at the house when they phoned. They told him that they were the National Crime Agency and that there had been fraud on his bank account. First time called by this number, did not leave any message.

Had a call today , nobody on the other end - another timewaster to add to the block list.

Yeah, got this number, called it and removed my number, so much for telephone preference service.

this number is calling my mobile up to 4 time a day. I don t know who they are and will no answer numbers I don t know or rely unless a voice message has been left.

this person called used the name of the person who answered ( my dad ) and when he questioned who he was the caller slammed the phone down.. re trace gave the number of 01271 42169 but when we rang it back it says it doesnt exist. Please can someone check on this person and stop this happening again

Getting repeted calls upto three times a day all trying to tell me im entitled to ppi. Ive been patient, silent, rude but nothing seems to deter these people. Really think they should stop wasting their money on repeatedly calling the same number to get the same answer. Think next time I answer the phone ill answer it as department of internal fraud and see if that makes a difference. Im ex directory and am still puzzeled as to how they know my name.
