Phoned me several times but as I found out why they called, by reading comments on this site, I have added their number to my list of blocked calls on my Call Guardian phone setup. Now the phone only rings once then automatically cuts them off without me having to do anything other than laugh at them for wasting their time.

This is a company that I contacted online for a quote regarding a kitchen utilities. online search engine that gives a rough estimate. they rang the next day to ask if they could put me in touch with local tradesmen. after some googleing I found that this number is associated with "Price Engines Ltd". When you ring back, number is not recognised, probably a scam.

Pertaining to be from BT saying that my internet has been compromised. I said that I was not with BT so the lady hung up.

Car-phone warehouse appears to have passed my number onto a third party sales team who will try every angle to get my bank details to sign me up to some insurance scam. Even had the front to say that he was calling from 02 to confirm details.

This is debt collectors calling me for a female who lived in my house before I bought it. They call usually twice a day 5 days a week. They will not listen, so the call does now not get answered, bad mannered Scots who look like they are looking for an argument. I gave them the last known address for the female they are looking for but they were only interested in shouting me down.
