Called me up and did not know my name, made several attempts - when asked why he did not know who the name of the person he was calling and asked what he was calling for he hung up. Is this number used by a foreign based nuisance call unit? How did they get my number as I have signed any internet (including local authority) site as not wishing my details to be passed on. I am getting several calls a day from this company. I keep telling them to remove my number but an hour later I get another call and they insist they have not called me before !! What do you have to do to stop these people. I have tried being rude (not offensive - just rude), putting the phone down on them, threatening to report them, but all to no avail. I love it when they say they are "Fred" or "Mary" or similar, and you know that they are not.
