When I answered the caller could be heard in the background not speaking. After around 3 secs the caller hung up. Very strange.

Called landline today 16/06/2020 13:20pm, no message left. A Google search suggests that the number, if genuine, belongs to a financial services company in Bolton, Lancashire. N...

Have had 7 calls in the last 3 days. Fast becoming a nuisance. I don t answer. I have blocked it on my mobile but I get a text message to say I have a missed call.

Leicester Fraudster Kamran Qayyum trying to blackmail me. Spotted in Spinney Hill Highfields Evington Leicester grooming vulnerable teenage girls to sell to his Pakistani gang.

As others, I answered the phone and waited, and waited, and waited. After around 15 seconds I heard it start to dial out, and someone then began to speak but I closed the call before responding. Clearly a call centre whose autodial is calling faster than their agents can respond.

Similar experience to Jim. I told the caller that he was making what I regarded as a nuisance call, and put the phone down.

PPI/Bank Charges claim company. Latest one is Endowment Policies. Aside from just hanging up, I find the best course of action with these guys is to just lie to them. Give them made-up details so they waste their time with fruitless nonsense. Tell them you paid PPI on a Swiss bank account with ?10m in funds given to you by a Nigerian prince. Keep calm and tell absurd lies, and this kind of call actually starts to be a lot of fun!

they call me at least twice a day from all different numbers but as yet I have not answered any of them as they are from a debt that was about ten years ago which is past the statute of limit
