Got a call from this number on my mobile. Said I d been in an accident. No I haven t. I reckon they just dial numbers at random. I say this because only my family know my mobile number and I won t give it out to ANYONE else. They didn t even know my name or where I was from or where the accident happened or what car I was supposed to have been driving or what time of day or the date it was supposed to have happened. Like many others, very rarely get calls to my landline. When I do, it s always Indians telling me I ve been in a car accident. I usually go along with it for giggles. I have yet to figure out exactly what they expect to scam from you. This time though it was a lady and I could hear multiple men in the background saying the same thing she was saying to me, to other people. I recommend making up elaborate stories for your own entertainment if you re not annoyed by these people yet.

Female called saying she was calling about an accident I had reported. I said I hadn t reported an accident and asked where she got the information from. She said she wasn t at liberty to say, then rudely went off on one, ending with it was my fault for not opting out, before slamming the phone down. Opting out of what..? Have blocked caller.

PPI company. I asked them to stop calling me. The caller proceeded to argue with me as she said that she has never called me before. I have reported to information commissioner.

Possibly a wrong number but they should have said so and not just hang up, very rude!
