Life insurance cold calling

Said they were calling from Domestic and General - a company we do have an account with already. Said we were a valued customer and had qualified for a discount. This caller Disguised number as local (01227) our area, no voice, suspect robo caller - a hang up call, we are a business I have to answer "local" numbers... incidentally I had a lady from "BT" call me yesterday and very calmly bullishly tell me they were upgrading our line to increase speed (I have nothing to with BT ever, not een a line, "Oh Great! Some Indian bloke called saying i was owed 4 thousand pounds in PPI, then a minute later he said it was 2 thousand pounds. I asked why had the amount had dropped down, to which he claimed he never said 4 thousand. The clearly tell so many lies and talk so much rubbish, they can never remember what they do say. He wanted details and when I didn t comply, he got verbally abusive. It all adds up to a complete and total farce.

Received a call, but they hung up within a few seconds of me answering and without saying anything. I called the number back but the call was answered and immediately hung up.

08443373025 called this morning but left no message. I have been having lots of these types of calls for a long time. Yesterday a local number phoned 10 times I finally answered and it was a company who will recoup money from you if u were miss sold a bank account.

I don t think I m an unkind person, but I do sometimes wish that those liars who make unsolicited calls telling people that their computer has a virus would contract a "VIRUS" themselves and lose the power of speech.
