I received a call from this number just now. He said he was from a company called Technical Help Service and told me my computer had a virus. He tried to convince me using various methods including running the eventvwr (the errors listed there are not related to viruses!) This is identical to the well known Windows Technical Helpdesk scam. Someone called but on answering the line went down. If it had been a bad line they would likely have called back - they didn t. Probably a scam call.

Scam they say they are from your bank and there is a problem with your account, they ask you to press 1 and you are put through to another person who asks you for your bank details

These people whoever they are annoy me no end. You answer the call ... They hang up! I block the caller but they still come back using a different, although a similar number!
