I was called this morning by a lady saying that she is from the pension office. She asked whether I had private pensions and whether it would be possible that somebody would see me face to face to go through my private pensions. I asked her to write me an email, however she said they would not work like this. By this time I thanked her and said good bye. Not serious at all! They keep ringing me on my mobile even though I blocked the number and don't answer. Very annoying!!!!!
when I answer a call from this number, they automatically dial another number which I would no doubt have to pay for if I did not hang up immediately. I hope these kind of calls can be stopped. I have, in the past, been called by the same method and have been charged for a premium rate number.

Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.
Claimed to be a company called "Jeffrey Mason" going on about monies owed to me - They had my correct name though pronounced it incorrectly. Told them to quickly tell me what the call was about as I was in Critical Care and needed to keep my phone line free (which is kind of true, my mother WAS in Critical Care but now on a general ward) before I could finish what I was saying they hung up
