SCAM / SPAM This must be a scammer as I had to go to voicemail to find out who it was and it is someone claiming to be from HMRC and asking me to press number keys for more information. This would most likely divert me to another number and leave me open to some kind of fraud. Number now blocked. If it really is HMRC they have my address and email address.
Getting repeted calls upto three times a day all trying to tell me im entitled to ppi. Ive been patient, silent, rude but nothing seems to deter these people. Really think they should stop wasting their money on repeatedly calling the same number to get the same answer. Think next time I answer the phone ill answer it as department of internal fraud and see if that makes a difference. Im ex directory and am still puzzeled as to how they know my name.

Fraud Call was recorded message purporting to be from Amazon and saying that payent of £399 had been taken for my order, if I did not authorise this press 1. So hung up, so obviously a fraud. Caller ID on phone showed a local geographical number, most likely that this was fake. Telecoms companies should have a way of identifying the origin of these calls and should really address this lawbreaking, ie conspiracy to commit fraud.

SCAM - Claimed it was the National Crime Agency looking into fraudulant activity on my NI number, with the threat that HMRC would block it. Have checked with HMRC. It is a scam. Am assuming the phone number was faked in some way, as it's surprisingly close to my own.
I received a missed call from a similar number last week. I checked this number and found it on a list of nuisance calls, and saved it in my contacts as 'nuisance call'...

Phone was off but had a missed call from this number and HUGE reported on line concerns from people about it. It worryingly coincides with DAILY Phishing e mails for past 3/4 months reported to report@phishing/ICO and Microsoft. And apparently NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE IN ALL THAT TIME AND SCAM ATTEMPTS BEING EVERY DAY! Worrying and EXTREMELY annoying. What’s the point of these reporting forums

SCAM get about 3 or 4 of these sort of txts, saying from particular bank, mobile compamy etc. Obviously scam. For one, I'm not with any of the companies the txts state they're from. Blacklist these txts straight away.

Got a call just now purported to be from this number saying they were my Internet providers and that my computer has been hacked and my service will be disconnected for 24 hours. It then offered me to speak with their agent. I just put the phone down as I feel it is a scam.
