Rang briefly at 08:05. As it was a landline I rang back but a recorded message said call might be recorded & thanked me for my patience but gave no indication as to their company name or purpose so I rang off. Damned annoying & especially so at that time of day!

male caller said from HMRC and with the local Police too - talking about outstanding tax due and if I did not pay I would be arrested - once I sent the money from the details given over the telephone I had time to think that this was an unusual set up - I called the real HMRC to establish this is a scam

i got the same message talk about threatening , if old people recieved this call it be quite upsetting for them , how low can they get ?????

Automated message. Allegedly the National Crime Agency calling to tell me my National Insurance Number has been suspended for suspicious / fraudulent activity and I need to Press 1 to talk to an Officer immediately before my assets are frozen and I’m arrested! Haha.

Asked how much i'd won and could he send it to my house and the jerk told me to **** off several times before he hung up.

The male caller claimed to be calling from Amazon and he insisted that my wife had an account which had been compromised recently. My wife put down the phone asap.

This number called me and said they were from Windows Service desk, I have worked in the IT industry for a long time and I knew that this was a spoof call, I hung up and rang the number back to be answered by someone completely different they did not say what the company was when I questioned them they became defensive, these people are definately scammers please be aware.
