SCAM caller - called saying he's from my bank, quoted some card details (correct, must be on a stolen database) to say that Apple Pay / Contactless are down for 24-48 hours while they do upgrades. I didn't give him any info but somehow he managed to set up an Apple Pay with my card and stole £2,600 from our company account, on payday, 4 days before Christmas. Seemed like a frightening "ransom" scam. Saying your being investigated for "Tax Fraud" and your going to be arrested if you don't hit "1" to reply back. I expect any reply incurs a massive phone fee charged to your bill connected to a premium number. No official entity would call you on an automated message in such a cold manner disregarding your mental and physical health conditions. Such as being suicidal or having a hart condition.
