Got a call from this number saying that someone was trying to take money from my account for betting in America and to press 1 on my receiver, which I obviously didn't. Sounded dodgy

Indian Voice starting speaking straight away and was insisting I listened, was trying to check my personal home address and details!!! AVOID THIS NUMBER!!!

Call center SCAM Wanted to check the deal I have with my broadband provider

Fraud, Dangerous, Scam Rang this morning saying there was something wrong with my PC, Luckily I was here at my motheer at the time.. Targeting OAP and vulnerable people such like. Quizzed him more about being the problem, being IT support myself and he put down the phone.

silent call - can't call back, dead number

Fraud/ SPAM/ SCAM/ Paid number. Indian male claimed to be from PC Curries asking which phone I was using and whether I wanted to buy an upgrade. I messed around with him a bit so he went silent and I hung up.

Impolite and looks like a scam. Telling me he will enroll me into a lucky draw for free but will send me a bill.

This number says that it is Apple Pay. It claims that my account has been suspended. It sends me to a suspicious link. This link will forward you to a virus. Please don’t trust this. Xx

This is a scam call - the message was to 'Mum asking us to save their new number'. when we tried calling it indicated that the caller was in Russia! Bad luck Putin - we blocked the caller!

This seems to be a scam, someone pretending to be someone's child, saying 'Hi Mum, this is my new number. My phone doesn't turn on on anymore so now you can text and call me on this number'. My child would not write like this. Please be aware.

Automated call SCAM Rang my number and had auto answer set in car. They immediately hung up when I said hello. Typical scam call centre. Don't deal with these people who do not have permission to call TPS protected numbers.

Called me saying they are the Carphone Warehouse and were trying to get me to buy laptops, phones and tablets. The line was pretty rubbish so I'm not sure if this was a scam as I'm sure the Carphone Warehouse don't just randomly call up numbers.

02081521989 This person called pretending to be a computer and telephone engineer. He wanted to check my broadband speed and land line connections. He wanted me to switch on computers and check broadband speed etc. Of course I did not comply and hung up. I contacted my provider for landline and computer broadband and they are convinced that this is a “Scam"

The number called from was not 839, the number was 849. the 849 number was not listed. The 849 number said they were the I. R. S.. "SCAM" Was the call from England or Ohio?

They called me while I was driving, so didn't pick up BUT they called 6 times over a period of 15 minutes! The voice mails was from a indian gentleman but I was unable to understand what they waned.

This number is from scammers in Birmingham wanting your bank details to repay you home appliance warranty overpayments that do not exist. Usually get three to four calls per week from same people using different numbers. They tell you that you have overpaid and they are from the refund department and can only pay your refund directly into your bank account DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY DETAILS. I had a call this afternoon apparently from this number 08000234567, which I know is the number of the Financial Ombudsman's Office, when the caller said he was from the fraud dept of my bank. I had called the Financial Ombudsman earlier in the day on that number. It did not feel right and when I challenged the caller he put down the phone. Somebody may be able to pick up the numbers of those who have called the FOO? I will tell the FOO by email as their phone system takes too long to get through!

SPAM I think! Number sends a (Covid-19) SMS alert message: NHS: You've recenty been in close contact with a confirmed case. You must book a test kit: https://my-pcr-order.com But, the SMS does not actually mention Covid-19! And, the website it takes you to appears to be the genuine NHS website, where it explicitly says you no longer have to isolate or do a lateral flow test, and there is no information on how to get a pcr test now that Test and Trace no longer operates!!!

Fraud. Text received from them saying they are the "PRA Group. You have a discount". I didn't open the text, but googled PRA Group instead. Apparently they are an American debt collecting agency. Blocked!
