They are very impolite to try and get a missed payment out of you or to try and get you to pay more and don't care if you can't afford too. IIB legal department - ambulance chasers for an accident I never had

Man called telling me he was my broadband provider and that my line was being hacked. Very aggressive, threatening tone of voice. Extremely argumentative when I suggested he was lying and told me I would be cut off if I didn't do what he said. Hung up and blocked the number but why can't these people be stopped? There are 100's of complaints about this number - why can't they be prosecuted for this intimidation?

This number called me and said they were from Windows Service desk, I have worked in the IT industry for a long time and I knew that this was a spoof call, I hung up and rang the number back to be answered by someone completely different they did not say what the company was when I questioned them they became defensive, these people are definately scammers please be aware.

Automated message. Allegedly the National Crime Agency calling to tell me my National Insurance Number has been suspended for suspicious / fraudulent activity and I need to Press 1 to talk to an Officer immediately before my assets are frozen and I’m arrested! Haha.

Rang briefly at 08:05. As it was a landline I rang back but a recorded message said call might be recorded & thanked me for my patience but gave no indication as to their company name or purpose so I rang off. Damned annoying & especially so at that time of day!
