They say they are calling about the miss-selling of payment protection insurance. I first got the calls in early May when i guess they were just checking whether the random digit diallings were live numbers and saving them into a list. Now they are selling the list or carrying out surveys themselves. This needs to stop. I know people who work in call centres doing this type of thing. It s a slimey business.

The old scam - recorded message saying I d missed a call and there is illegal activity on my internet and it will be closed down within 24 hours - press 1 etc etc. Thought...

say you have won an holiday then proceed to collect all info about you. just scamming you for personal information to sell on.
