had a miss call on this number and without paying much notice i called back. someone said i am under investigation. i knew it was a scam but i already called. not sure if i will be charged or how much for few minutes of call. any idea?

Similar numbers of the same range 16893259xx are already reported here with accident chasers - probably this one is the same case, same call centre? I don't answer unknown numbers and they left no message. Have missed calls from them on my mobile, was trying to dig some info on the internet before calling them back, but found nothing, no luck. People pls did someone answer this number, who is it?

Saying you have won £1000. Ignored it. Likely to be scam as never entered any competitions.

SCAM Call received today 15th Feb 2021. Computerised call. Pretended to be from HMRC and that my name was recorded as a tax fraud and a warrant would be issued against me if I didn't press 1 now. I am an accountant in practice who has dealt with the HMRC for 30 years. This a SCAM. The HMRC will never call you like this on such matters. If you do owe money to HMRC only pay them through the secure channels listed on the government website and ensure it is your reference you are making the payment against.

They wait 3 seconds and the line goes dead. Then call you from another number. Unsure who they are, what they want or how they obtained my details.

The phone number 02045174376 may be a scam to get money from people. The call was of bad quality with a lot of background noise. The caller tries to get you to except a phone contract cheaper than you current contract, but with the same or better terms and staying with your current provider. They then ask for an up front fee which they say you will back with the contract. I could not confirm what company owns the phone number, but when you call the number back it went to a message in a foreign language.
