SCAM purportedly from your bank stating that the fraud department has noticed two fraudulent transactions on your account, the first from Amazon in the sum of £700 didn’t need to listen to the second one. My bank do not use a Manchester address and certainly wouldn’t use a pre recorded message.BEWARE

Missed a call from this No. and called it back, told me that my life insurance policy was out of date or words to that effect, told him he was talking a lot of s**t and blocked this number, yet another SCAM !!!!!!

SCAM called with an automated message saying that it's from the tax office and I owe tax and to prevent going to jail that I needed to press 1 to answer them. I haven't worked in over 20years so I don't pay tax so not even the smallest possibility that I would owe any. Also the tax office would never contact you by phone. Just and scam to steal money. Why don't they get a proper job.

SCAM - somebody called to ask to speak to my husband regarding his business account with British Gas. When I asked them to contact my husband's business directly they stated that the only number they had (which is our home number). They gave me a reference number and asked if my husband could call them. It all sounded very plausible - please be aware.

Can you call me back please on this number" Both my sons and my only daughter were sitting in my living room with me at the time as they are staying with us for Christmas!. Nice try scammers . Telephone 01782256242 was the number I picked up from distinguishes 1471 yet when I google this number it comes up for 01782256242 - someone supposedly from Microsoft asking about my computer at 07:13 in the morning, told him I didn’t have a computer and git cut off
