Called this morning, did not recognise the number (not in my contacts either!). I did not answer and they left no message. No idea who or what the call was about.

Strange to have a phone call in Wales from Scotland when never been there. Can BT stop them.

Scammers who claim to be from "Telephone Preference Management" and try to get your debit card details on the pretext (ironically) of blocking nuisance calls. Preying on the elderly and gullible, as usual. Nasty.

Had a call from this number, identified itself as Humberside Police to my call barring service but then cut off when I tried to answer. Line went dead when tried to recall. Called police, they had no record of anyone trying to ring my number nor did they recognise this 56677 number. Suspicious, also nasty if it is a scam, as I am now worried about whether or not the police are trying to contact me for genuine reasons. They wanted information on the road traffic accident I have not been involved in yet. I guess they must be a clairvoyant agency!!

Sent me information on buying carbon credits after me avoiding them for weeks - now they are trying to ring me 4 times a day - I just reject the call now ..... Shame I through all their stuff in the bin as I can t remember the name or address to write to stop them calling plus they never leave messages with is even more annoying !!!!

called by Review team, Manchester reference packaged bank accounts, when I said I had never heard of them the put the phone down - sounded dodgy to me

My Pixel phone flashed red for scam call so I didn't answer. Checked the no. on this site & am grateful to previous contributors. The no. is now blocked.

Automated ?you?ve been in an accident?

American recorded voice told me that I had had a law suit filed against me. Asked me to press 1 to contact my case officer. Obviously I did not do so. Obvious scam.
