Person with an Asian accent (after a delay) introducing himself as Peter Thompson purporting to be from BT claimed someone in America was using my IP address and accessing emails . Asked what devices I was using to access the internet. The scammer wasn t afraid to argue back aggressively when I told him in no uncertain terms I knew this was an attempt to hack in to the internet.
Recieved a text claiming to be from Lloyds stating that my card was used online at DHgate.com for £2048.48 and the payment was declined. 1. The card that was queried was cancelled a week ago 2. There isn't that amount of money in the accountWhatever you do. DO NOT RESPOND because if you do the scammers will call you had try and rip you off

SCAM caller - called saying he's from my bank, quoted some card details (correct, must be on a stolen database) to say that Apple Pay / Contactless are down for 24-48 hours while they do upgrades. I didn't give him any info but somehow he managed to set up an Apple Pay with my card and stole £2,600 from our company account, on payday, 4 days before Christmas. We're now completely skint and can't afford to pay the wages. Been doing some investigating and his name is Tyrell, apparently. Fuck you Tyrel

These Transcom a holes obviously don t even check the numbers they ve been given before calling them. Transcom left a computerised message demanding that someone should call them. I ve never given out my number, had no dealings with Transcom, and the person they were asking for has never, to my knowledge, lived here or used this number. Call from PPU Insurance for my washing machine. When I said I didn't want to set up another insurance package, the caller hung up immediately without saying anything else.

Scam indian/pakistani/bangladeshi caller pretending to sell electricity and gas. They don't know a lot about either so they are just gathering details in the hope of profiling you. Several calls today, i managed to make one last 37 mins whilst i did other things. That is 37 other calls they couldn't make. RESULT
Called from a mobile and a machine told me I was going to lose some money if I didn't press 1 or 2. It seems Manchester has nothing better to do than all use mobile phones to scam hard working people from their money. SCAM!!!!!

Claimed to be from TalkTalk technical department and asking questions about my router. A strong Indian accent and a lot of call centre noise in the background. I hung up.
