Called my parents number, asked to speak to my father, my mother said you can't, she asked why, she said he is very ill, she asked why what is wrong with him I want to speak to him...my mother said im sorry but I'm not telling you... and he can't speak to you.. so they hung the phone up at my mother asked who they where... im sorry why should elderly people have to deal with people calling there house... its so wrong...why my father couldn't talk is cause he is dying and can hardly speak....

TAXES / HMRC they called me today and told me something about tax and to avoid jail time, it wasn't even a proper answering machine it sounded like the Google translate voice, I tried calling them back later this afternoon and said their number is invalid. If you are concerned about your tax and stuff call hmrc directly and chat with them if there's something going on cause this number seems a bit dodgy. I'm gonna call them myself tomorrow morning

I answered today and said the same thing - so checked what information they had on my address etc, and have the correct address, have asked for the information, and will check it out when I receive it. I asked where they had obtained my information from and he said from an online form I had completed, and as I have recently, this would seem feasible, as the databases are available to purchase in the telemarketing world. I got a phone call from this number, as I did the 1471 to hear the number back. The man said his name was John and wanted to speak to my brother. He new his name and said he owed money and they wished to speak to him. My mother answered the call but wouldn t give up any details, but she kept asking them questions about who they were and why they were ringing. DO NOT GIVE ANY INFORMATION AWAY!! DO NOT ANSWER THEIR QUESTIONS!

Got a blocked call from this number yesterday. I always check on here to see what is. Hurray for Call Guardian from BT. The phone cost £40 but was definitely worth it.
