SCAM / SPAM Claims to be HMRC with dire consequences if you don't ring back
Automated call from robot claiming to be HMRC stating there is a tax fraud case against me.
Recording says the call was made by British Telecom. Don?t know why they called me. I?m not a customer.
I answered the phone and an automated voice said that I had committed tax fraud and that If I did not press 1 to speak to someone about it. I would be arrested shortly. needless to say I hung up.
This number along with different 4 digit extension numbers on the end can call me up to 3 times a day. I finally answered one of them to tell them to stop ringing but it is automated and they dont say who they are. I ended the call as they ask you to press a number to proceed but I daren t!

A text message Supposed to be from Royal Mail saying I had not paid postage of £2.99 I think it’s a scam, I have not clicked on the link, but checked the number on here, hope this information helps stop scams like these.

Cold calling. The woman was telling me I could get £2500 back from a PPI claim, told me I could have it back by Christmas (because who doesn t need £2500 for Christmas!) told her I had no PPI anywhere and no mortgage or loans so she hung up

I did have a minor knock 1 year ago and I keep being hassled by them and told that if I don t claim 2 - 3 thousands pounds the 3rd party will, against me. will talk to my insurers and I will continue to ignore them.

Had this number, 01619390228 call me a few times recently, they don t let the phone ring very long, have never left a voice message and on trying to call the number I get an engaged tone, will try to get to my phone quicker next time to answer, reckon it s a scam call, shouldn t be allowed !! I get calls from this number every day on my mobile, sometimes twice or three times a day. I never give this number to anyone except close friends! They just called again even though I blocked their number. When I first answered weeks ago, they immediately ended the call. I m worried it s some kind of scam.
