Calling about a "factory accident" claim I could make. Bunch of rubbish.
After all the complaints, it beggars belief that these scammers are still using the same phone number and not been arrested. We are a computer repair business and have 2 telephone lines. Got a call on line 1 from the scammer (Asian male) who announce that my computer had problems!!! He was told in no uncertain terms to do something rather harmful to himself. SCAM - Apparently they were from Sky trying to test my broadband speed. Notwithstanding I am not with Sky, I asked them to tell me my own name and postcode and they hung up. How rude! I assume the next step would be to access my computer to 'fix' the issue.

SPAM - marketing call
Robotic female American voice telling me I'm wanted for unpaid taxes. I hung up but caller stayed online for 30 seconds before disconnecting. Quite alarming and I think many people would be quite frightened by this.
Shanon called apparently from the FCA, telling me I was going to receive £3,750 for my PPI claim today by 12 noon. Passed me onto David Thomas who said I would have to pay £375 to the delivery driver for the solicitor with an Amazon gift card! Talk about a scam !!!
SCAM called up regarding my banking and had details of my account but is not my bank
Fraud. Second call today claiming to be from Bank Security. No mention of which bank. A recorded message about two alleged payments. Clearly fraud / scam.
SCAM supposedly from Amazon saying suspicious activity on my account.
Said they were from BT Open Reach, and that I needed to upgrade my service because they were discontinuing my package.

Get CPR CallBlocker for less than ?40, it stops pretty well anything; overseas, unavailable, withheld, private & any displayed numbers too. With capacity for over 1000 numbers it s far better than registering with TPS or such useless companies.

If you say you're not with BT, that doesn't bother them as they just say BT is the overall company and they're just protecting you. 'Annie' hung up when I insisted she was a scammer.

Like other reviewer, I had the same call today from a lady with a very strong accent and could not understand a word she was saying apart from hearing 02. Told her I wasn't with 02, she said you are, (I think). Put the phone down and blocked it. Does make me laugh when these spammers try to tell you, you have a product when you don't, do they really think we are that stupid!!
