"We are calling about the accident you had a few months ago" SCAM
Phoned to say they wanted to refund an amount incorrectly taken from my bank account for my washing machine insurance.
Call received 10.31 hours on Wednesday, 23rd June 2017. No message received, so I didn t pick up the phone. I don t recognise this number and don t want to speculate with no further information. Suspicious of those who will not leave a message and Dorset is a high scam area in the UK. Better to be cautious.

Called concerning my gas boiler - told them I was registered for Telephone Privacy - they responded with I had completed a survey - when I asked them not to tell me lies and remove my number - response - "jog-on" - everyone is entitled to earn a living - but where are we as a society when we permit this kind of cr...p to interrupt our lives - these companies should receive fines for every unwanted call made.

Took a contract out with car phone warehouse have not given out number which means car phone warehouse has passed on my number against my will. These people wana sell u BAD and EXPENSIVE phone insurance. Have phone insurance elsewhere but won t take no for an answer. Have called me 6+ times in 2 weeks.

Hi , just got a phone call from this number please avoid , i was going to give them my card details although i donot prefer to give it by phone , he said he does not need the 3 digit numbers , just £ 2.78 to cover the post charges !! Asian male who said he was called Eric Lawson and my windows computer had been hacked - I told him I would report this to the Police direct, but he kept on, wanted me to log on PC - no chance- asked for the company name , tel. No , reg. Company no. He gave me an address in Leicester, despite ringing from Bath! And gave me a toll free (American term) number. Hung up.....

Since then they have moved on to School Book scams fronted by a Kelly Griffiths under the name of Embrace Education based in Chester. It’s very rare the books get sent out, and only do if you check with school and ask for money back.
