SCAM A female agent called me with Mobile Phone = 07428693956 at 12:22 pm identifying themselves as BT Customer Services and Security. They said their engineer was working on the line and detected an extra IP address registered at my location. Now BT customer services never ring outbound on a mobile, plus IP addresses are allotted by the router and not by the user. These people keep phoning claiming they are the support for my internet providers. How do I get rid of them? I ask them which IP since I have 3, one of which is a bank, and I have 3 modems in my house. That normally makes them swear at me and hang up. The other method is to ask them which IP they are calling about, and when they say one, true or not, I say that the account is set up with a security word and they must confirm that before I can talk to them. They swear and hang up. They are always from India,
