I have been telephoned this afternoon – apparently by EE – to tell me that I was getting a 45% discount on my bill for the next year? I was then passed on to a supervisor to confirm my email address – which I did. They then said that they would email me and I would need to change the password to EEdefault19: at this point I told the caller I would hang-up.

Banking scam. Tried to get me to move money into a new "safe" account. Told them where to go and hung up. Please beware of this type of fraud.
This is a removals company I used to move that scammed me over £1000. They operate under the names Riight Moves Removals and previously Royale Removals, the owner being Sat Singh.

He told me the usual nonsense about my computer but I told him that I was not interested as I had got rid of my computer because of these scam phone calls. Female automatic message claiming to be from "banking" warning about large transactions (£1000) on Amazon. Menu options 1&2 ignore or speak to someone. I checked banking online, no such transaction made or pending. Probably a scam.

I had a call from 01135190541 and my phone said potential fraud. When I knocked it off, I had a phone call straight after from 01135190548. That said suspected spam, so I knocked it off. Missed call - Missed the call. Rang back out of curiosity and got the message "This number has been suspended through suspected misuse or fraud. If affected call..." and gave the Fraud Line Interestingly, I look at my Blocked Numbers log and I have in the past blocked 0161 636 3721 - 3726, so it must be an allocation bought up by someone dodgy who just flips the outgoing number when it gets burned.
