We had one of these calls. Found their number - 0161 488 3888. Gave them a call and gave them a piece of my mind! Told them to remove my number immediately which they said they would. We will see!

Received a letter allegedly from the Homeless Asian Society (does not exist), containing very offensive and racist language. This number was at the top of the letter.

A man claimed he was from a company called "Speed" who rudely demand to know why I hadn t made a claim for the accident I d apparently been in. The last accident I d been involved in was a few years ago and upon hearing me start to explain this he hung up before I finished speaking. This is clearly a scam hoping to either get some personal details to allow them to commit identity fraud or to falsely extract money from me.

I am getting regular silent calls from this number even though I am registered with the TPS. I have now tracked them down and the number belongs to a supposedly reputable charity fundraising organisation. I say supposedly reputable since no genuinely reputable company would make such a nuisance of themselves, especially on TPS registered numbers. This number has called my mobile at around midday twice in the last week. Answered the first time but no-one there. Ignored the second ring today. Having found these other comments I shall not be answering in future either. Thanks
