I phoned the number back& it was answered by a female with a Liverpudlian accent, who repeatedly mumbled the company name,but I eventually got it out of her. She said Our records show that you may have been involved an a minor accident in the last 2.5 years and may have suffered an injury. I told her that I had not. Caller claimed to be from BT Openreach calling about poor internet speed - sounded like an Indian call centre. I was wary but we have been having poor speed so I carried on. They asked me to do a speed test on out internet using a site I have used before. They said the speed figures were very low. They wanted me to download software so they could connect to my PC which I didn't do. When I started to challenge them to prove who they were they hung up. I suspect this is a scam call.
DHL Scam. Don’t give them any information. They’re trying to get payment for unpaid import duty but somehow they’ve got access to DHL’s waybill numbers. But they’re so stupid they can’t even quote the correct amount!
