Just received call from this number. Didn’t recognise,so didn’t answer, no message left on voicemail. Now blocked. Came from a landline in Nottingham
Silent call, I think the scam is for you to call them back at inflated call costs to call the number. No one ever answers you after you pick up but you can hear that there is some one on the other end of the line as they initially say hello. Deffo a scam!!!

Apparently this is the Energy Advice Team and I thought this company were just cold calling me. I soon realised that they were just responding to my application regarding an air source heat pump and solar pv panels on either Facebook or Instagram. They are actually a very friendly and knowledgeable company.

Scam. Claims to be from HSBC trying to warn me about an unauthorised payee request. Honestly, as if times aren't hard enough without these scum bags trying to steal from working people. Just got a very strange call from this number saying it was hmrc and that I had been fraudulent ... and I needed to pay ... first they said £1900 then £1800 then £1700. They said if I didnt they would send the police to get me arrested ... he wouldnt give me any details of how they knew who I was and was quite bullying ... my hands are left shaking and then he put down the phone

I missed two calls - the second one today 17/09/16. I looked the number up online - didn t find any comments. Rang the number back - there is a voicemail message that says it is a Market Research company and how to get more information about them. If you did want to speak to them they can be contacted on 01908 278303 - maybe to get your number removed from their list. They do have a website - might give info re how to do this on there. Or block them/don t answer if you are not interested.

Apparently, according to recorded voice, the National Crime Agency are going to suspend my National Insurance number and arrest me. This is unlikely. This is the only one of 4 unknown calls from Vodafone numbers I have answered in the last couple of days but suspect all of the same ilk.
