Caller claimed I had a problem with malware on my PC and he would guide me through the repair of it. He asked me to turn on my computer and when I told him no, he got aggressive, told me my PC would screw up and then hung up.

Received call from Indian sounding male, call centre environment. Said other people had been using my router. He did NOT ask to confirm my name address, account etc. I asked him many questions as I new it was a scam. He asked me to go to my computer. I ve received about 8 calls from this number in the last week. When I answer, I can hear what sounds like Call Centre noise, but no person talking to me. After a few seconds they hang up. My partner have a lot of personal stuff happening and these idiots just call several times a day and sometimes because it looks like a genuine number you automatically pick up. DON T do it. I m letting the answer machine do it s thing but I just wish these idiots would bugger off.
