I ve had three calls today from 02088523462 five yesterday, every time trying to convince me that they are "Microsoft technical" that my computer is "sending them errors". I know this is bs and decided today to have a nice long conversation with them about my background in networks engineering and how I know it is bs, but I understand that the guy on the other line is only doing his job and reading a script and that if he doesn t get abusive with me we should be able to resolve this. Just received a call from 020 7262 3749 automated message saying there was a fraudulent case against me and I was going to be arrested and to press #1 for more information on fraud and tax evasion against me! I don't normally answer calls I don't recognise. What is wrong with these people!

Has rung 3 or times a day for several days. Initially I refused to answer as it was an unknown number and never left a message. Then one brief message was left, merely asking for my name but not announcing who was calling, so I have answered twice since, thrash it out with them and get them to leave me alone but each time it has been total silence. A call centre in Bridgend, judging by the code.
DANGEROUS SCAM They get your details from sites like Preloved or boohoo etc and ask you to answer a survey, what they are trying to do is record you saying hello, yes and no so that they can try to use your voice to answer banking details and other fraudulent claims etc Seen too many people taken in by this scam :(
