I have received 3 calls per day, from various numbers across the UK, following an accident in November (6 months). They all know my registration number, and date of accident, enough to pretend they are working on behalf of my insurer. THEY ARE NOT!

Repeated phone calls, answered some of them and sounds like a call centre in the background but hang up immediately without saying anything. Return calls not answered. I am on the TPS.

My TRUECALL device received a call from 01924215367 today. Its operating system would have asked who is calling before asking me whether I wished to accept the call. The caller did not respond and my phone did not ring. I installed this device because I have been a victim of miss-selling and fraud crime. The product is endorsed by BT. I got a text from what looked like my bank (Santander), saying a lot of money was being taken from my account. It gave this number 03333443057 to call. I called, and they answered HSBC ! I said I thought I was calling Santander, they said I work for both banks (yeah, right!). I said let me have your name and department, I ll call my bank and ask to be put through to you, at which point they promptly hung up.
