This number has been calling for month, plus this number has been ringing me sometimes right after each other and it is a nuisance sometimes 6 or 7 times a day. Sometimes I answer this number by accident and recently I asked them to stop ringing and take my number off their list, which has never happened as they refused to do so. This is a scam. It comes through as a local number and tells you you have been charged a large amount by a popular online store then asks for information.

Paypal scam - posing as a Gumtree buyer . He/she will reply to anything you have for sale on gumtree. They send you a text but then ask you to reply to a moody email address. The one they gave me was [email?protected] and the number they used was +44 141 280 7229. Clearly foreign (poor use of English) and also clearly retarded - lack of understanding of gramma and spelling. Stay well away.

Had phone call but didn't say why

Caller says he's from Carphone Warehouse and they have a deal. I told them I'm not interested and requested to remove my number off their list. I've blocked the number now.

This is one of the most persistent callers I have come across. Eventually, I found the contact number to remove yourself from their list. (http://www.tnsglobal.com/uk/have-you-been-contacted-for-research/telephone) They claim not to sell on your details from calling numbers on this page.

Almost certainly a scam call. These calls use spoofed numbers, originate outside the UK and are untraceable. NEVER TRY TO RETURN A CALL to an unknown number and NEVER PRESS A...

They re not UK numbers, so UK authorities have no jurisdiction over where or who they are.

caller left a message just saying "thankyou" and disconnected. dont know who they are so didnt call back.
