Call claiming to be from o2 regarding my mobile contract renewal (and numerous missed calls thereafter). I was suspicious so checked with o2 - they confirmed they didn't recognise the number and recommended blocking it so they can't contact me again.

A man rang to my cell phone today. He asked for a one minute survey. I should just ignore him for the first place. I stopped his questions after one minute question about if I have Life insurance, mortgage, subscribe for a free magazine. I learnt, in the future just say no for survey especially using cell phone. No idea how they got my landline as that is registered with TPS. The company mobile registration had ended.
