Received text warning me of impending fraud and to ring asap. when you ring the number it asks you continuously to enter your sort code and account number instead of putting you through to an operator. Obvious fraud attempt.

Damn the Indian curry man! Received this number just now and I asked the curry man who's it and what's it for. The curry man in his strong curry accent, saying ... Hello ma'am, it's about the business and I was waiting for more details, he hung off. What a life waster!

Asian kid with attitude said I had entered comp 3 months ago, told him I did not and I am on TPS so stop the call, again with attitude said do not be disrespectful, of which I was not and put the phone down.

This number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with Utilita company - gas, electricity, power changes.

SCAM robotic voice claiming they are National Insurance and press button 1

James Gardner from ppi claims one called saying I was due £2740. Lots of info about me, names, address, bank etc. Same as before, they wanted confirmation of the £250 paysafe cards before agreeing to deliver the cheque. Even gave me a claim reference of CB
