02039236526- came up on my phone as potential fraud so didn't answer. From what I can see it is a HMRC fraud call. Next time I will pick up and report to HMRC. Everyone getting these calls should report them as I am sure they catch out some unsuspecting individuals.

Caller claimed I had a problem with malware on my PC and he would guide me through the repair of it. He asked me to turn on my computer and when I told him no, he got aggressive, told me my PC would screw up and then hung up.

I ve been getting several calls a day not just from this number, but from others, too - or sometimes they come up as "unavailable" or "international". All of them are from people with an Indian accent saying that they are calling to fix a problem with my PC and quickly become very rude when questioned. Number claims to be from NHS stating I have been in contact with someone who has Omicron Variant and I must order a free PCR testing kit and left a link to claim it. How would they know I have been in contact with someone with that variant? Expect it is a scam and if I clicked on the link who knows what the result might be. The caller on this number claimed I was the subject to a criminal investigation by HMRC. I was invited to press button 1 or button 2 to hear more. I understand that doing this would connect me to a premium rate line.

Recorded message telling me there was an investigation on my national insurance number, suspected of being involved with fraud or something. Pressed 1 to be connected to an operator (might as well waste their time) but as soon as it connected they hung up on me. Phone scammers not wanting to take a phone call? HOW do they expect to defraud me of money if they won't even talk to me? :-)
