Text messages from BPO again asking unknown person to contact them about a Virgin Media account. Very glad I bothered to find this thread as I was about to call them.
Called today at 11:38 Electronic message to say that I’ve not renewed my Amazon Prime subscription and they’ve deducted £96 from my account. If this is incorrect press 1 Dadidadida…… Hung up. I am not a Prime member and they don’t have my card. It’s a scam to get your money. Don’t do it. Wish these numbers could be blocked like on mobiles.

This number is used by the Advantage credit - debt colectors and advisory, check it on http://www.avantus.com/ (the company has changed its name, but "Advantage" is still in use). They also use 800-243-0120 as a customer's help line. In most cases this number is rated as a nuisance call...
Oh dear, the Russians got my national insurance number, which is involved in criminal activity and they will arrest me if I don’t talk to one of their investigators. Needless to say I didn’t press 1 on my phone, just end the call !

Received a voice mail in relation to an pre booked appointment returned the call to a staff member called Carl. I was told my appointment was cancelled as I hadn't taken the call the day before (which was never made) and was laughed at and then refused to pass the details of his manager and hung up.
