Call claiming to be from o2 regarding my mobile contract renewal (and numerous missed calls thereafter). I was suspicious so checked with o2 - they confirmed they didn't recognise the number and recommended blocking it so they can't contact me again.

Called re: a (fictional) car crash that my housemate was supposedly in (bill payer for the phone line). Only have his title and his last name. When asked when the accident happened they say 'in the last few years' and when asked for the address of the company they only say 'South West London'.
