Don t answer!! Don t give any details!!! These people called my elderly mother saying that there was a claim for her vehicle insurance - absolute rubbish. Also the insurance is under my father s name so they basically got her mobile number from a database. Luckily I was here and took over the phone call where it became immediately clear that they were fraudsters. Being based in Haywards Heath and with an English telephone agent you d be forgiven for initially thinking that they were legit.

Scam call claiming to be British Gas regarding our electricity renewal - caller didn't sound professional, was in an overseas call centre by the sounds of it, didn't know the account holders name and said he couldn't give me a contact number to call them back on, he has to call me directly apparently.... took me about 10 seconds to find the renewal department contact number online so I'm confused why he said he couldn't give me one.

If you really want or need to speak to me, then leave a message on my answer machine, simple!! - these people will never leave a message and I will NEVER answer their harrassment calls on a number that I don t recognise. SCAM get about 3 or 4 of these sort of txts, saying from particular bank, mobile compamy etc. Obviously scam. For one, I'm not with any of the companies the txts state they're from. Blacklist these txts straight away.
