Confused.com. Will definitely not be using their service again
This number is just a routing number for sales calls from abroad. Call themselves Npower direct but this same crowd call from many numbers and sound like a call centre in India routing through various numbers. I have also had them routing through what look like London numbers. Web searches show this is unlikely to be anything to do with Npower.
This number is on my phone at the moment and has been for 20mins blocking my line I can listen and they are saying nothing. At the moment can t ring out or accept calls. Scum.

SCAM / SPAM - left a Voicemail warning of legal ramifications due to tax fraud. Phoned back and directed me to Voicemail then made dial up tone. Definitely a scam.

SCAM Said was from BT Openreach and needed to access my computer to sort an internet problem.
telephoned 4 times to say my computer had a virus and I must pay him to have it fixed - clearly a scam - Microsoft would not telephone me for any reason.

Scammers!!!! They called my grandmother regarding a PPI claim, telling her in order to claim she would need to put £400 on a travel card (this was their agency 'commission' apparently), and they would come to her home (beware, they already knew her address) to exchange the travel card for her "PPI compensation cheque". Thankfully we've taught her well and she called me first to ask if I thought it was a scam.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. Similar numbers are reported as a telemarketing - scam PPI calls. Did someone answer any number of this range?
