I answered questions from a "Researcher" whilst waiting for my flight at Alicante Airport. She stated I will be entered for a holiday Draw. I did not hold any hope but humoured the woman who said I will not be contacted back in the UK This was 2 years ago and am still being pestered. Thankfully, network coverage is non-existent indoors where I live so it gets registered as a Missed Call. Still, very annoying.

This number said (Asian accent) they were market research and wanted me to confirm my name and address. Asked me what make my washing machine was, whether I was a homeowner or rented accommodation, who my broadband provider was, would I be interested in Virgin Media, if I had private health insurance, who are my gas and electricity suppliers, what age group I am in etc. So I just told them a load of lies and not to contact me again. They said that there would be a recorded message at the end of the conve
Fraud Caller says they are from the fraud department of your credit card. They then say they are checking on a suspicious transaction which is bogus of course. They say they will block the account but only once they email you a one time pass code which they want read back to them. It’s a scam and was confirmed by the genuine fraud department once I called them.
