Called today by this telephone number +44 1223 546709, automated call with message basically stating that the call was from HMRC and my account was involved in fraud and I was to select 1 on my my key pad to talk to an advisor (yeah, right as if), failure to do would result in an arrest warrant being issued against me immediately...... okay still no police at the door yet. female caller, Pearl something services, wouldn't answer my questions and apparently had info that i'd been in an accident in the last 5 years and then in the same breath asked me to confirm whether that was correct.
I have been called twice by this company at work. the person who called today said that they had only rung this once, not two weeks ago, but it was exactly the same company offering exactly same thing - £20 fuel vouchers and free magazine and hundreds of thousands of offers and if you would like you can join, but you don t have to. I told them today I had been called 2 weeks ago offered the same thing but I hadn t received anyting from them. She said it was becuase I hadn t paid for postage and packing -

Similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers or life insurance). For sure some general call centre with telemarketing offers. Did someone answer this one people?
