Phone number called twice sounds like a scam call center with chatter going on in the background.

When I tried phoning the number back, it said number not recognised?!
Said he was from home recovery company and I was entitled to £140 plus rebate , I said you’ve lost me he hung up immediately
Claimed to be from Visa regarding 2 bank withdrawals.
Cold calling offering "debt advise", was rude when I said I had not requested these services and told me I must have done it a while ago. Told her I didn't and I didn't appreciate them cold calling me, nor not telling me the name of the company.

Seems to be linked to a scam/malware. My phone has sent this number 192 texts but this is not shown in my phone log but shows up on my network provider's records.

Caller said they were from BT and they detected suspicious activity on my router. I asked them if they were OK to have the conversation recorded - they hung up.
Don't know who it is, but when I answered, I got the silent treatment. Probably someone who lost their nerve and couldn't go on with whatever scam they're upto.

Indian man called claiming from sky. Said im not with sky he then said no hes feom a company linked to sky, again said not with any company linked to sky, he said no you dont understand. This was a call from a call tariff firm wanting to increase its network it is a cold call and has obtained my number via a sale from other companies I have blocked the number and asked the company to remove me from their call lists immediately this is the second call i have had from a similar number and I asked the last called to remove my number also this did not happen the 1st Time - I will see if it happens again.
This number has been making numerous calls today before 8am. It alternates with a private caller saying they are from Virginmedia. I have checked with the company who have no record of any calls being made to me. Annoying maybe dangerous.

SCAM had a call from this number by a woman claiming to be from O2. Offering a discount on all 02 contracts. I asked what name she had on the file and told me that she didn't have a name that it was a general call to all 02 customers for this great offer of 50% off the contract. I told that you don't work for 02, if you did you would know my full name and customer account number, with this she groaned and hung up.

This company uses Voxbone SA (now called bandwidth) services to route calls from scammers. this is just one of many telephone numbers i have had call me trying to scam me and i receive up to six per day for the past few weeks. At the beginning I politely told them that i was not interested requesting them to take my number off their call list and now its straight FO. Sorry for generalising it but it usually an Asian woman or man.
