I asked where he was phoning from and he said the BT Tower in London. He said I had a lot of problems with my connection over the last few days so they were going to disconnect me. Have been charged for 11 calls to this number in one day and 4 calls earlier in June. I have not made these calls and have reported it to BT but they can t do anything about it until after my next bill in September.
SCAM - Automated call from a Warwickshire number claiming that my Amazon account had been fraudulently used to purchase an Apple iphone 11. I only use it to purchase Kindle ebooks. Don't even be tempted to press 1 out of curiosity you'll either get charged a hefty fee on your landline phone bill, or speak to someone who will put the fear of god into you, convince you this is real, get you to disclose your true card details or even manage to get your internet banking log on details from you!
