a message was left on my voicemail by this number actually talking to another caller the calls must have crossed at exactly the same time so I recorded their call. It was an Asian voice stating they were from the Government Grants Office and we were obviously both entitled! Utter rubbish I would not be entitled and I heard the other caller saying she would not be entitled to it so not to waste either of their time.

The point of the scam is to find gullible people who will believe what they say. They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account. I am a solicitor. I received a call 28.7.17 at 11:33am about an accident I did not have soliciting that I in effect make a claim. The call is obviously deceit/fraudulent based, and based on weaving a fabrication to make false claims. When the caller realised I had both a brain and was honest they hang up before I could chew the callers head off metaphorically.
